Amy has worked for us as a hygienist for over twenty years. The thing she really loves about the job is the personal approach we take in our office. Amy is amazing at not only chatting with patients and helping them feel comfortable but also at remembering them and developing long-term relationships.
Amy is an OHSU alumni and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 1998. Since then, she’s been working hard to change lives one smile at a time.
Some other lives she’s changed are those of her family. She is married to her husband, Joe, and together they are raising their son, Noah, who is in high school. They also have two grown kids: Karah and Kaelynn. Whenever Amy doesn’t have her hands full with those four, she enjoys cooking, gardening, shopping, and reading.
Dani is one of our registered dental hygienists. She has been with our practice since September 2021, and she worked hard to get here! Dani has a bachelor’s of science in public health with a minor in health & wellness coaching in addition to her hygiene degree.
Dani is committed to treating her patients based on their own individual needs, supporting her co-workers, and, of course, giving excellent patient care. Dani likes being a part of our practice because of the confidence she has that our team is providing the best overall care for patients—from practical and technical skills to ensuring patient comfort.
Outside of her time in our office, Dani enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. The more time she spends with family the better—even going all the way to England to visit her husband’s family as often as they can! Dani is a passionate reader, with an interest in a wide variety of genres from health and wellness to a good fiction series.
Val is an experienced registered dental hygienist that joined our practice in July of 2021. She has been in the industry for thirty-seven years, so you know you are in good hands with Val!
In addition to her dental hygiene expertise, Val is also a massage therapist with a specialty in headaches, TMJ-D, and repetitive use injuries of the upper body. She loves getting to know her patients and making sure they feel comfortable and well-informed.
Val feels lucky to work with such nice co-workers, and we feel lucky to have Val and her many years of knowledge on our team!
When Val is not supporting our patients, she can be found riding her bicycle, doing yoga, or going camping. When the weather is nice, catch her out on the lake with her stand up paddleboard! Val is the mother of four and grandmother of six.
Lisa is one of our amazing dental assistants for the practice, and we are lucky to have her. She has been a great addition to our team since joining our practice in September 2021.
Lisa brings a positive energy to the practice, she is always encouraging the rest of the team to work hard and have fun.
When Lisa isn’t in the office, helping patients and other members of the team, she loves the outdoors. Lisa is an avid outdoorsman. She enjoys getting outside to go hunting and fishing. Lisa is happily married, and is the mother of two and grandmother of three!
We are delighted to introduce, Mitchell, who has joined us as Dental Assistant/Sterilization Technician. Mitchell will also be continuing his studies towards a Dental Hygienist degree.
Outside of work and studies, Mitchell keeps busy with a full-on outdoor lifestyle…. hiking, camping, climbing, snowboarding, and disc-golf are some of his favorite activities. With a Golden Retriever puppy at his side, we can imagine all kinds of fun stories will be forth coming!
Please give a warm welcome to Rebeca, our newest Dental Sterilization Technician.
Rebeca is a first-generation college student, with her sights set on a career in dental hygiene. With a supportive family behind her, her ambition and enthusiasm, we have no doubt she will reach her goal.
On the weekends Rebeca enjoys hiking, paddle-boarding and adventures with her boyfriend, dancing and working out. You’ll find her refueling on her favorite brownies and almond milk latte before another busy week at our office comes around.
Victoria has a gift for comfortable conversation, making her invaluable at our front desk. She has been a front office assistant since July 2020. You can rest assured that she’ll treat you just like family from the moment you set foot through our door.
Victoria’s work experience comes from a little bit of everywhere. She was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and since starting her family has lived in both Oregon and the Netherlands. She and her husband Dave have two kids—Luca and Ruby—as well as a labrador named Harvey.
If she sounds like a real go-getter already, you haven’t seen anything yet! Her whole family is athletic and active. They enjoy exploring new places together, and they absolutely love going to the beach, whether it be at a lake, a river, or an ocean. Luca is a competitive swimmer, and Ruby tries just about every sport available.
Victoria’s more personal hobbies include baking, fashion, and photography.
Amanda transitioned to become our Office Manager in Spring 2022 and we are thrilled! We love how willing she is to help wherever she’s needed, and to learn anything the job requires. Her friendly face makes the front office feel more like home than a waiting room.
As a native from The Pacific Northwest, Amanda loves Oregon—especially during the fall! In 2016, she graduated from Portland State University where she earned a BS in Community Health, with a minor in Aging Services. We’re excited to see her experience make our dental office a better place.
When she’s not welcoming people at our front desk, Amanda loves to bake, hike, work on DIY projects, and drink all the coffee she can get her hands on. She’s also a huge Disney fan. Much like the stories she enjoys on the silver screen, Amanda had her own fairy tale romance. She married her high school sweetheart, and together with their cat, Princess, they’re working on happily ever after.
Ashlee joined our team as a front office Patient Care Coordinator in Spring 2022 and we couldn’t be more delighted to work with her. Ashlee is definitely a ‘people person’ and welcomes our patients with a smile and easy conversation. A fast learner with excellent organization, communication and business skills, Ashlee is motivated to enhance our front office patient care and communication.
When she’s away from the office, you’ll find her spending time with her family and friends and her much loved PomChi pup. Ashlee has a love of bubble tea and visiting local wineries, as well as trying out local food hot spots – she definitely joined the right team!
