How Treatment Works
Your SureSmile clear aligner treatment begins with a one-on-one consultation. We take digital scans of your teeth to create a precise 3D model of your smile. This model allows us to plan your treatment from start to finish and show you a preview of what your results can look like.
Once your aligners are ready, you’ll receive a series of custom trays that are designed to gently shift your teeth into place. Each set is worn for about two weeks before moving on to the next. Youll wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day, only removing them to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth.
To help your aligners achieve the best possible movement, we may place small attachments or buttons on certain teeth. In some cases, a technique called interproximal reduction (IPR), which involves removing a very small amount of enamel between teeth, is used to create a little extra space for optimal alignment.
